Liberation-Based Therapy LCSW, PLLC is thrilled to announce a new fiscal sponsorship partnership with Globalizing Gender. This strategic partnership enhances the mission and impact of both organizations by combining resources, expertise, and networks to promote the eradication of gender-based violence and provide mental health support broadly.
Globalizing Gender is a New York-based organization seeking sustainable, culturally aware alternatives for gender-based violence survivors in the continental U.S. and abroad. They educate people on issues of gender-based violence, including female genital mutilation and cutting (FGM/C), child marriage, forced marriage, human trafficking, breast ironing, and domestic violence. Through advocacy, education, and community engagement, Globalizing Gender works to dismantle systemic barriers and promote policies that support gender equality worldwide.
Why This Partnership Matters:
Collaborative funding and programmatic partnerships like this are vital for the sustainability of purpose-centered work. These relationships deepen the impact of mental health initiatives surrounding interpersonal violence, wellness, and education. By leveraging the unique strengths of each organization, we aim to create a more comprehensive framework for advocacy, healing, and systemic change. Together, we envision a future where survivors of gender-based violence have access to the culturally attuned resources and mental health support they need to thrive.
